Chief is an 11-year-old black standard poodle from Toronto who enjoys the simple things in life. His favourite activities include lounging on his designated blue couch in the basement, following his mom around the house, riding in the car, sitting for cookies, lying down in places where people are forced to walk over him, walking in the ravine near his house, and laying in rays of sunshine in the dining room.

Chief is a very sly dog who has learned that if he refuses to move forward on his walks, he will receive ample treats to motivate him to keep moving. When asked what his favourite Canada Pooch jacket style is, Chief said he could never choose between his blue Snow Seeker coat (featured in photo) and his red Arctic Adventurer vest.

Chief is the kindest, most gentle dog in the world who has brought endless joy to his family.
